Peuple de Nout

1 of 5

Nout is the goddess of the sky in Egyptian mythology. She is the firmament, the celestial vault and protects the earth. She is also a symbol of resurrection.

These sculptures represent a human, neither man nor woman, who develops in four stages, giving a feeling of vagueness and advancement of a population.

Treated as protective talismans, these sculptures are also a tribute to Sèvres by the colours used.
